E-Scooter Strikes Again

Meeting oncoming traffic incorrectly is a common reason for failing your driving test. Apart from judging how to do this safely in terms of the width of the road and the speed of the oncoming traffic a big part that gets overlooked is moving off safely afterwards.
Always wait at least 2 car lengths back from the obstruction more if needed for example if there is a junction on the left. Wait near the centre line of the road and DO NOT wait with a right signal on. Save this for when you are about to actually move otherwise you have no way of communicating that you are moving off!
As always just before moving off always check your mirrors and blind spot just before you signal...
